Resumen
Resumen: Los descubrimientos científicos realizados entre finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX permitieron realizar la síntesis que llevó a la comprensión de la estructura de la materia y sus propiedades periódicas. Este proceso, lejos de consolidar las concepciones físicas entonces establecidas, dio lugar a una profunda revolución conceptual y epistemológica que cambiaría irreversiblemente a la ciencia.

Abstract: The scientific discoveries carried out between the end of 19th and the beginning of 20th centuries achieved a synthesis that led to the understanding of the structure of matter and its periodic properties. This process, far from helping strengthen the physical concepts established at the time, gave place to a profound revolution, both conceptual and epistemological, which would irreversibly change science for good.
