Resumen
Resumen: El presente artículo trata de hacer un breve repaso sobre la evolución, desarrollo de la estructura y acción celular de algunos derivados metálicos con actividad anticancerosa. Se hará un resumen de los estudios realizados sobre complejos metálicos basados en galio, estaño, titanio y rutenio, que se han llevado a cabo desde el descubrimiento de la actividad anticancerosa del cisplatino. Asímismo, se intentarán exponer brevemente las tendencias actuales en la investigación de este tipo de complejos.

Abstract: This article pretends to review briefly the development and evolution of the structure and cellular action of some different metal derivatives with anticancer activity. A brief description of the studies carried out for metal complexes of gallium, tin, titanium and ruthenium, after the discovery of the anticancer activity of cisplatin, will be summarized. In addition, the current tendencies on the research on this topic will be also described.
